A printmaker in the making

With all this wet weather we've been having and the kids clocking up big hours on PS3 or computers it was time to do some crafting!

Connie and I made some potatoe stamps using cookie cutters to make the heart and star shapes. We then rolled textile ink onto the shapes and stamped away. Not a bad result!

Christmas is looming way too fast but I have almost finished all of my personalised stamp orders. These two orders left Devonport in Saturday's mail.

These stamps are off to Wellington today. I just couldn't resist including the beautiful gardenia in the photo - as this is my favourite flower, I just love the perfume! One advantage of all this humidity is being able to have these fabulous flowers in our gardens.
